Girnar NewTel Solutions Pvt Ltd (NewTel), setup in 2011, is Headquartered in Bangalore and works on business value based IT products and Enterprise Sales. OnthegO serves the Field Force Management, Sales Force Automation and Retail Sales markets. Newtel is also the channel partner for HTC Vive Enterprise Sales.
The team of NewTel comprises of experienced professionals trained from the premier institutes of India under the leadership of IIT and IIM alumni.

Jay Kumar

Founder & CEO

Jay has more than Twenty Six years of executive and entrepreneurial experience focused on the retail, telecom & Internet domains. Prior to Newtel, he was the Telecom Director at Trilogy and Product Marketing Head at Motorola. He began his career with Reliance Communications, serving in various business planning, strategy, and product development and marketing roles. Extremely focused on innovations and improving enterprise productivity, he has contributed to two patents in the mobile space. He brings the same spirit of strategic innovation to NewTel driving new revenue product opportunities. All the solutions that NewTel markets today have been conceived by him and developed under his guidance and leadership. He is a graduate from IIT-Kanpur & IIM-Ahmedabad.


Arvinder Kaur

Co-Founder and President

Arvinder founded Metrics Matter to offer small and medium businesses access to the same quality of digital marketing and analytics insights and execution that large companies have through their in-house teams. She has over twenty four years of experience in consulting, digital marketing and strategy with Fortune 500 companies, and has worked across geographies to drive business results. Before founding Metrics Matter, she led digital customer engagement for Capital One. Arvinder is a mentor with two non-profits, SCORE and Pacific Community Ventures, that provide business advice to start-ups and small businesses. Arvinder is a proud Longhorn (McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin) and a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She lives in Richmond, VA with her husband and her son. Arvinder leads client engagements and Business in NA.


Amit Jain

Co-Founder and Strategy Advisor

Amit is a B.Tech from IIT Delhi (99’ batch). He worked in the IT industry for 8 years before he founded GirnarSoft in 2007. He started his career with Trilogy, an Austin based company, and grew up the ranks quickly to take the role of a product manager. Being entrusted by Trilogy for a sole venture helped him gain the right expertise needed to setup a team from scratch, innovate new ideas, build a product and generate business from the same. Amit specializes in customer acquisition, product management, internet marketing, web services architecture and design, search engine optimization and link building. The complete spectrum of Girnarsoft products launched till now is a testimony to the rich experience garnered by Amit over the years.


Anurag Jain

Co-Founder and Technology Advisor

Anurag has done his 5-year integrated M. Tech in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi (02’ batch). He held the realms as co-founder of GirnarSoft in 2007, after his impressive tenure of 5 years with i2 Technologies and Sabre Holdings. In these organizations, he was responsible for ideation, innovation and development of the core algorithms in the engines that powered the operations research products. His expertise cuts across various domains like supply chain management (Semi-Conductor, Healthcare, CPG, Retail, Auto, etc.), scheduling and recovery management (Aviation), operations research, data analytics, statistical and forecasting models, algorithm design, and product innovation. His knack of solving business problems with efficient processes, models and then backing them up with technology helps Girnarsoft deliver significant value to its customers and products.


Ruchi Jay John

Co-Founder and Head HR

Ruchi is an Economist from Kerala University (93' batch). She worked in the Media, Education, Telecom and IT sectors for 16 years before she co-founded Newtel in 2011. She started her career with AIR, an information and broadcasting company, where she managed her own program and later worked with United School Kuwait as school manager and subsequently with Airtel, where she worked across functions in the customer care department. After Airtel she joined Asset International and managed her own venture gaining the right expertise needed to make and execute a business plan from scratch, innovate new ideas and find right employees and partners. Ruchi specializes in recruitment and strategic partnerships. The key initiatives taken till now for recruitment of talented employees, partnering with great co-founders and strategic alliances for global expansion are a testimony to the rich experience garnered by Ruchi over the years.
